Strategic Planning Retreat for Solopreneurs
NEW!
It's Time to Invest in YOUR Short and Long-Term Success!
Invest the same care and intention into your business that you help your clients achieve.
In this year-end strategic planning session you will design your own Solopreneuer’s Roadmap for the next 1, 3, 5 and 10 years.
Many of us got into solopreneurship to have room in our life for more than just a job. We’ll build our roadmaps to reflect the totality of our priorities and passions. That way we can keep our goals in alignment with our whole selves and maintain context when priorities shift.
- Reflect on your progress so far - how did you do on your business and personal goals? What lit you up? What do you want to do more of? What drained you? What do you want to do less of?
- Look ahead - where do you want your business to be in a year? In 5 years? 10? How do those goals align with your personal goals?
- Dream big - we will “dwell in possibilities,” getting all the “someday” projects and ideas down on paper so you can make a thoughtful decision about where they fit in your roadmap. This might not be the year to start a podcast or hire your first employee, but 2028 is looking pretty good!
- Help each other - We’ll do this work in community, leaning on each other as sounding boards, truth tellers, and idea massagers.

All the Answers...
No! This strategic planning workshop and the Solopreneur’s Roadmap are for anyone selling services to small and mid-sized businesses. The priorities and challenges of fractionals and consultants, coaches, advisors, and implementers are so similar – we love the opportunity to grow our businesses in community.
We will have one follow up session on Zoom for attendees to talk through their roadmaps, getting feedback and learning from each other.
Then, we will offer monthly coworking days starting in Q1 2025. Some of these will include focused topics that we tackle together. (Like “Work on your LLC documents.” Did you know you have to keep certain paperwork current for your LLC???) Quarterly, we’ll review roadmaps and set priorities for the upcoming quarter. And we’ll bring in experts to help you set up artificial intelligence tools that work for your business.
- Snacks and lunches
- Guided exercises to build your Solopreneur Roadmap
- Community reflection and collaboration
We’re keeping things cozy and low key with these workshops.. We’ll meet at the home of one of our facilitators.

Introducing the Solopreneur’s Operating System Powered by the Fractional Conference
This workshop will help you create the all-important vision for your solopreneur business and set you up to run on the Solopreneur's Operating System. This framework empowers solopreneurs and fractional executives with strategies and practices to align their businesses with personal life goals. It is an annual cycle of strategic planning designed to maintain the delicate balance between intention and ambition. We will host monthly coworking sessions in the Twin Cities to help you work the system and stay on track with your goals.
At its core, the operating system encourages solopreneurs to become more accountable to themselves, making conscious decisions about their vision and business operations. It emphasizes owning one's business plan and setting personal benchmarks for success, ensuring that solopreneurs call the shots on what constitutes “good” and “enough.”
Central to this framework is the development of a Solopreneur Roadmap. This journey begins with establishing a clear vision: defining what one wants their business to achieve in life and determining the milestones for one, three, five, and ten years into the future. It involves mapping out core values, identifying the purpose and passion that fuel ambition, and assessing what support and resources you need to keep making progress.
Executing this plan involves quarterly "sprints," where solopreneurs focus on a handful of priorities, ensuring their actions align with broader life and business goals. The system promotes monthly check-ins to evaluate progress and make necessary adjustments, encouraging solopreneurs to engage with their networks for support and collaboration.
For solopreneurs seeking to build an abundance mindset and develop strong self-leadership, the Solopreneur's Operating System offers a structured approach to fostering growth, agency, and purpose. It is a comprehensive framework that not only facilitates the development of a strategic roadmap but also nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit necessary for sustained success.
You don’t have to do this on your own. We are offering monthly coworking days to help you stay on track with your business goals and personal development: https://fractionalconference.com/coworking-days/
